A bold, malty Assam tea. Great in the morning with a splash of milk.
This Assam tea has an abundance of golden tips. The flavor and fragrance, when steeped, is malty and woody with hints of dried fruit. The color is shimmering copper – warm and deep. It is a powerful, robust tea with an astringent bite and subtle sweetness. Its flavor and astringency pair well with milk and sugar for a satisfying breakfast tea. Grown on the Jorhat Estate in India, the leaves are plucked in the Summer months and have been highly-graded as Special Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe.
